Mark your calendars for a ghoulishly good time at our Troop 1613 Halloween Party! Get ready for a night full of spooky fun with contests, games, activities and eerie music on Monday 10/28 at 7pm at RCC. Here's what's brewing: Mini pumpkin decorating, spider crawl balloon popping game, hanging mini chocolate doughnut eating contest and our annual Halloween costume contest. Be sure to wear Scout-appropriate costumes or your Class A uniform and bring your favorite Halloween snack or drink to share with the Troop!  

The GOLD rush is on! We're heading to Julian for the ultimate GOLD Mine Tour and the November campout at William Heise County Park 11/15 - 11/17! And it's time to stake your claim on the "GOLDEN" Spoon where Troop 1613 Patrols will compete to create the most delicious breakfast dish on the campout. We will be visiting the historic hard rock gold mine from 1870 at the Eagle Mining Co. http://www.theeaglemining.com/ and also visit other historic sites in Julian plus their amazing candy store and famous pie shop! We also have a great campsite in a forest of oaks and pines at William Heise County Park which is situated 4,200 feet above sea level along the northern region of the Cuyamaca Mountain Range.

Hello Troop 1613 leadership, we have our transition PLC meeting on Monday 10/21 at 7pm at Richfield church. All current and newly elected PLC members to attend. See you there!  

On Monday at our troop meeting, we will be have our troop leadership elections and working on compass and orienteering skills. Please make sure you bring your compass to the meeting. See you there!

At Monday's troop meeting, we will be working on First Aid and Backpacking Scout Skills in preparation for our upcoming backpacking trip and have nominations for Troop leadership positions. Look forward to seeing you all there!

Hey Troop 1613 Scouts! We're getting back on the trail for a beginner backpacking trip to Little Jimmy Trail Camp 10/19 - 10/20, near Mt. Islip. It's going to be a blast so sign up by 10/14. Sign up and turn in your completed permission slip (attached) and $10 camping fee. Look forward to having you join us!
